“Open Day” Held: Eighty High School Seniors Visit the Faculty of Security Sciences
As part of the “Open Day” event, final-year high school students from across Republika Srpska visited the University of Banja Luka today.
The Faculty of Security Sciences hosted eighty seniors interested in enrolling in the “Security and Criminology” study program.
The students were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Predrag Ćeranić, who wished them luck in choosing their studies and success in the upcoming entrance exam.
In conversations with professors, assistants, and current students, the guests received detailed information about the curriculum, preparatory classes, the entrance exam, and the extracurricular activities offered by the Faculty.
Divided into groups, the seniors visited the criminalistics laboratory, the forensics office, the Airsoft classroom, and the amphitheater, where a demonstration exercise on the mats was held.
The guests also watched a simulation of a criminal offense and a crime scene investigation performed by students and professors. Following this, the prospective students observed the forensic processing of evidence, while the greatest interest was shown in the Airsoft weaponry used during regular classes.
