Three Gold Medals for Faculty of Security Sciences Students at the BiH Senior Judo Championship

Students of the Faculty of Security Sciences, Vasilije Vujičić, Božidar Vučurević, and Igor Đurica, won gold medals at the BiH Senior Judo Championship held this past weekend in Bijeljina.

• Vasilije Vujičić became the champion of BiH in the over 100 kg category. Vasilije is a fourth-year student at the Faculty and has been a cadet, junior, and senior champion of BiH throughout his athletic career.

• Božidar Vučurević earned the gold medal in the under 81 kg category, proving once again that he has remained unrivaled in Srpska and BiH for years.

• Igor Đurica took the gold medal and the championship title in the under 66 kg category.

Last year, at the BiH Senior Open Championship, this trio won two golds and one silver.

Vasilije, Božidar, and Igor are successful athletes and students, serving as student demonstrators for the Special Physical Education course group.

The students of the Faculty of Security Sciences are the most successful sports collective at the University of Banja Luka.
