Aleksandar Miladinović Holds Lecture: “Cybercrime – Security in the Virtual World”
On November 4, Aleksandar Miladinović delivered a lecture to the students in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Security Sciences on the topic: “Cybercrime – Security in the Virtual World.”
Miladinović is a Chief Inspector and the Head of the Police Training Department of the Ministry of Interior of Srpska. He is the author of seven publications (textbooks), two of which focus on the subject of cybercrime.
In a very engaging lecture, it was emphasized that the most common forms of cybercrime include the misuse and theft of data on social networks (account theft and identity compromise), cyberbullying, sexual violence (sexting, grooming…), the use of social networks for spreading hate speech, and the political and religious indoctrination of youth.
The lecture was illustrated with real-life case studies from Facebook and Instagram environments.
