FBN Students Visit the Technical Overhaul Institute Bratunac

On Friday, October 31, 2025, students of the Faculty of Security Sciences visited the Technical Overhaul Institute Bratunac. The visit was organized as part of the activities within the course “Explosives and Explosive Materials Engineering,” led by Prof. Dr. Saša Mićin. The students toured the production halls and learned about the history and core activities of the company.

The Technical Overhaul Institute Bratunac is a private company engaged in the production and trade of weaponry and non-combat equipment for military and police use. The Institute produces armored vehicles (Vihor and Despot), a semi-automatic pistol (Vampir), demining machines, radar systems, mine fuzes, command systems, etc.

The students also visited the Memorial to fallen fighters and civilian victims of the Defensive-Patriotic War and Serbian victims of World War II from the Birač and Middle Podrinje region of the Republic of Srpska.
