Cooperation between the Faculty of Security Science and the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry
Representatives of the Faculty of Security Science Dr Predrag Ćeranić and Dr Sasa Micin paid a working visit to the Institute for Forensic Psychiatry in Sokolac.
The Dean of the Faculty, Predrag Ćeranić, and the Acting Director of the Institute for Forensic Psychiatry in Sokolac, Bojan Koprivica, signed on October 22, 2020. year agreement on cooperation between the two institutions, according to which security students will come on study visits to the Institute.
Koprivica said that groups of students from the Faculty of Security Science would come to this institution to get acquainted with what the Institute of Forensics was doing from specialist doctors and subspecialists in the field of forensic medicine.
– Everything that we teach, that our teachers teach students about forensics and its application in criminology, a good part of the Institute applies in practice. So, what we have in common is expertise in the case of criminal offenses and civil proceedings in the sense of establishing and determining the degree of sanity of the perpetrators of criminal offenses or those who are in civil proceedings – explained Ceranić.
