Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the University’s Faculty of Security Sciences and the Ministry of Security of BiH

The Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka has signed a Memorandum on Scientific-Research Cooperation and the Establishment of a Knowledge Network with the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking a significant step towards further improving cooperation between the academic community and institutions responsible for the security sector.

The Memorandum was signed with the aim of strengthening scientific-research capacities, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and developing joint activities in the field of protection and rescue, as well as civil protection. Special emphasis was placed on connecting theoretical knowledge with the practical needs of the security system through joint projects, research, expert analyses, and educational activities.

This cooperation enables the more active involvement of the academic community in the processes of risk analysis, planning, and policy improvement in the field of civil protection, as well as the strengthening of institutional capacities through scientifically grounded approaches.

The signing of the Memorandum confirmed the commitment of the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka and the Ministry of Security of BiH to long-term and systemic cooperation, with the aim of developing a knowledge network and improving the overall protection and rescue system in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole.
