Faculty of Security Sciences Students Visit the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertise

In the spirit of successful cooperation between the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertise and the Faculty of Security Sciences, second-year students visited the Agency on April 25.

The Director of the Agency, Radiša Samardžija, addressed the students, after which a presentation on the Agency’s work was given (covering its establishment, legal competencies, achieved results, and the challenges the Agency faces in its daily operations).

During the continuation of the visit, the students toured the laboratories operating within the Agency and familiarized themselves with their capabilities, forensic methods, and the types of expert analyses performed at the request of prosecutor’s offices and courts.

The visit to the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertise is organized annually as part of the “Fundamentals of Forensics” course curriculum and represents a valuable experience for the further education and professional development of the students.
