Visit to Brčko District Police: First in a Series of Future Collaborations
Students of the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka had the opportunity to visit the Brčko District Police, where they were introduced to the work and organization of this significant institution.
Fifty students participated in this visit, organized by the FBN Student Organization. The goal was to gain a better understanding of the police structures and functions, as well as employment opportunities within this institution.
The students toured key organizational units of the Brčko District Police, including the Criminal Police Unit, the Special Unit, and the Training Center. During the visit, they had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Archives, the Forensic Service, the Crime Laboratory, and the Operational Communication Center. Police representatives explained in detail how these units function, as well as the processes involved in investigations and operations.
The students were introduced to the history and establishment of the Brčko District Police, its operations, and the wide range of opportunities it offers for professional development. They also had the opportunity to learn about employment conditions and the various career opportunities provided by this institution.
This was the first in a series of visits, and the students and representatives of the Brčko District Police have already agreed on continuing their cooperation.
