Faculty Representatives Attend International Demonstration Exercise at UCIPS Belgrade

Representatives of the Faculty of Security Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Saša Mićin and Lazar Vulin, MA, attended an international demonstration exercise titled “Detection and Substantiation of Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs by an International Organized Crime Group” on May 24, 2023. The exercise was held at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in Belgrade.

Participants in the exercise included senior students from UCIPS, officers of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, students from the Federal Criminal Police Office Department from Wiesbaden, and students from the Police Academy of the University of Public Service from Budapest.

The scenario of the international demonstration exercise involved the formation of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT), data exchange, surveillance and recording, searching a vessel, police arrest, and other evidentiary actions in accordance with the criminal investigation plan.

The Faculty of Security Sciences and the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies enjoy successful, long-standing cooperation.
