Prof. Dr. Velibor Lalić Guest on RTRS: On the Causes and Consequences of the Tragedy at the Belgrade Primary School

Prof. Dr. Velibor Lalić appeared as a guest on the morning program of Radio Television of the Republic of Srpska (RTRS) on May 4, 2023.

The reason for his appearance was an analysis of the causes and consequences of the tragedy that occurred at a Belgrade primary school, where a student killed a security guard and seven classmates.

The tragedy has raised numerous questions, such as the legal classification of the act and criminal responsibility, peer violence, crisis management, and the negative influence and accessibility of new technologies, Professor Lalić pointed out.

In this context, Lalić also emphasized the importance of the initiative by the Faculty of Security Sciences to introduce the subject “Security Culture” into primary and secondary schools in Srpska.
