The third anniversary of the Faculty of Security Science officially celebrated

The solemn academy and graduation ceremony on March 6, 2020, marked the third anniversary of the successful work of the Faculty of Security Science, University of Banja Luka.

The program was attended by numerous guests, staff and students at the Police Academy; President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović, Rector Radoslav Gajanin and representatives of the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka; deans and rectors from Srpska and Serbia, guest from the Moscow Regional State University Elena Prijorova, as well as representatives of numerous institutions in the field of science, culture and education.

Dean of the Faculty of Security Sciences Asst. In his speech, Dr. Predrag Ćeranić reminded the attendees of the importance of the Faculty in the socially responsible education of students. The dean announced the launch of a joint master study program of the Faculty of Security Science and the Moscow Regional State University, whose graduates would receive degrees from the Russian Federation and Republika Srpska.

On behalf of the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, the rector prof. Dr. Radoslav Gajanin emphasizing that the Faculty in its development can count on the support of the University. According to him, the Faculty of Security Science is important for the University of Banja Luka, not only as one of the most popular faculties, but also because the time we live in is fraught with great security challenges.

Republika Srpska President Zeljka Cvijanovic emphasized that the Faculty of Security Science is a long-term project of Republic of Srpska institutions and that its mission and vision are shared by the highest-ranking officials in Srpska.

In continuation of the program, the Dean of the Faculty presented awards to the best graduates Branka Đajić, Aleksandar Đekić and Stepa Stjepanović, and then plaques, charters and thank-you notes were given to deserving individuals and organizations.
