Monograph by Asst. Prof. Dr. Boris Tučić: “Global Security and the Changing World”
Last month, the Faculty of Security Sciences published a monograph by Assistant Professor Dr. Boris Tučić titled “Global Security and the Changing World: Concepts, Actors, Challenges, Risks, and Threats.”
The monograph is divided into four sections:
-
The Concept of Global Security;
-
Challenges, Risks, and Threats to Global Security;
-
Actors in Global Security;
-
Global Security Risks.
From the author’s introduction: “The monograph Global Security and the Changing World: Concepts, Actors, Challenges, Risks, and Threats was written amidst the intersection and overlap of several events and processes with profound global security implications—ranging from mass migrations from the Near and Middle East toward Western Europe, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the conflict in Ukraine with its multidimensional global implications, to the intensification of tectonic changes in the very character and structure of the modern political, economic, and security international system.

The monograph is, among other things, based on materials used for the ‘Global Security’ course at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Banja Luka. As such, it was primarily written to support the students of this higher education institution, as well as others interested in contemporary phenomena in the fields of international relations and security.”
The monograph is available in the Faculty library.
