Open Door Day: Faculty Welcomes Future Students
As part of the “Open Door Day” event, high school seniors from all parts of Srpska visited the University of Banja Luka on April 7, 2023.
The Faculty of Security Sciences hosted over eighty graduates interested in the “Security and Criminology” study program.
The prospective students had the opportunity to speak directly with professors, teaching assistants, and current students to gain firsthand information about the curriculum, preparatory classes, the entrance exam, and the various academic and extracurricular activities offered by the Faculty.
A welcome reception was held in the Faculty’s amphitheater, where the Dean, Prof. Dr. Predrag Ćeranić, presented the Faculty’s organization and explained the significance and content of the Security and Criminology program.
Divided into groups, the graduates toured the criminal investigation techniques laboratory, the criminology cabinet, and the Airsoft classroom.
The guests watched a simulation of a criminal offense and a crime scene investigation performed by students and professors. Following this, the future students observed the forensic processing of evidence, showing the greatest interest in the Airsoft equipment used as part of the practical training.
