He acquired his theological education and all scientific degrees to date at the aforementioned Faculty in Foča, and pursued professional specialization in Germany and the USA.

So far, he has published two books and numerous independent scientific papers in Serbian, English, Russian, and Romanian. He speaks several foreign languages. He strives to make theology, as a search for Meaning, an integral part of contemporary Serbian culture.

He is married to his wife Jelena and is the father of three children: Evgenije, Nikolina, and Marija. He serves as the Vice-Dean for Science at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology “St. Basil of Ostrog” in Foča.
