University of Banja Luka Partner to the European Project – BEAMING

The University of Banja Luka is a partner in the new European project the Bioeconomy Excellence Alliance for Stimulating Innovative and Inclusive Green Transition (BEAMING).

This project, funded through the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – Horizon Europe, is dedicated to advancing excellence and promoting innovation within the field of bioeconomy and will last for the next four years. The goal of the project is to facilitate the competitive ability and visibility of higher education institutions in Europe, with a special focus on the countries of Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.

To this end, the BEAMING project fosters a culture of cooperation through the achievement of various goals: strengthening the skills and capacities of researchers in the early stages of their careers in bioeconomy research, supporting institutional reforms, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation, improving technology transfer and fostering an inclusive institutional culture.

This collaboration of higher education institutions is expected to create a dynamic ecosystem that brings regional and global benefits in the field of bioeconomy.
