Study Visit to Georgia

Representatives of the Faculty of Security Sciences conducted a study visit to Georgia from June 7 to June 11, 2022.

This activity is part of the project that resulted in the creation of four manuals titled “Legal Socialization for Security Culture” for primary and secondary school students in Republika Srpska. The study trip was realized in cooperation with PH International Sarajevo, the Ministry of Interior, and the Republican Pedagogical Institute of Srpska.

As part of the planned activities, the FSS representatives visited the cities of Gardabani and Mtskheta, which are rich in archaeological sites and cultural monuments. The visit included meetings and discussions with representatives of the non-governmental sector in Georgia, a visit to a primary school in the Azerbaijani region of Georgia, and tours of archaeological sites, religious buildings, and museums.

The Georgians adopted Christianity in the 4th century, and numerous cultural monuments in the country date back to this period.
