Sports Skills in Security: Lifesaving and Water Rescue Training
Miroslav Mišković, an instructor from the “Buk” Diving Club, conducted a water rescue and lifesaving training session yesterday at the City Olympic Pool for the students of the Faculty.
The session was held as part of the “Lifesaving and Water Rescue” teaching unit within the course “Sports Skills in Security,” under the guidance of the course professor, Prof. Dr. Darko Paspalj.
The training covers procedures for handling drowning victims in calm waters, including:

Rescue without equipment for unconscious and semi-conscious persons;

Extraction and resuscitation of victims who have lost consciousness.
Miroslav Mišković is a licensed international instructor and the Head of the Rescue Service at the “Buk” Diving Club.
This training is part of the activities covered by the Mutual Cooperation Agreement between the “Buk” Diving Club and the Faculty of Security Sciences.
