Journal of Security and Criminalistics Classified in Category M52 for 2025

The Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia has published the List of Categorized Scientific Journals for 2025, according to which the Journal of Security and Criminalistics (Žurnal za bezbjednost i kriminalistiku) is categorized as a national scientific journal of the M52 category.

Category M52 includes scientific journals by domestic publishers that, according to the indicators of the annual scientific journal analysis procedure, fall within the 35% to 75% range in their scientific field, or in the field of humanities, in accordance with the valid criteria.

The classification of scientific journals is performed in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the Rulebook on the Categorization and Ranking of Scientific Journals, and one of the basic prerequisites for categorization is the timely submission of the journal to the Digital Repository of the National Library of Serbia.

The Journal of Security and Criminalistics is jointly published by the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka and the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in Belgrade. The M52 categorization represents significant recognition of the quality, scientific contribution, and continuity of work of this journal.
