Dean of FBN Prof. Dr. Predrag Ćeranić Participates in the IX International Forum of the Financial University

At the invitation of the Faculty of Sociology and Mass Communications of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Dean of the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Dr. Predrag Ćeranić, participated in the IX International Forum of the Financial University.

Among others, former graduates of the University participated in the opening of the forum, including the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Agriculture of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Prof. Ćeranić’s paper was titled “Current and Potential Threats in Border and Cross-Border Regions and Directions for Their Neutralization.”

At the same time, Prof. Ćeranić held a lecture for third-year Political Science students on the topic “Ethnic Groups and Policies in the Western Balkans.”

Likewise, Prof. Ćeranić participated in the Gorchakov Fund conference with a paper on “The Relationship Between Russia and NATO.”

Also, at the “Academy for Business and Diplomatic Protocol ALTER,” he held a lecture on the topic “Information Security in Wartime Conditions – The Experience of the Republic of Srpska.” Besides numerous visitors from the general public, this lecture was covered by several press crews, including journalists from the state news agency TASS, Tverskiye Novosti, and Yuzhniye Novosti. The television station RT also requested an interview with Dean Ćeranić.

The lecture was followed by numerous questions from the audience, who were very interested in topics related to the Balkans. Interest was also expressed regarding mutual visits by students of the Financial University and the University of Banja Luka.
