International Conference on Social Architecture Held Under the Patronage of the RF President – Participation of UNIBL Representatives

An international conference titled “Social Architecture – Theory and Practice of Social Changes” was held in St. Petersburg (December 5-6) at the premises of Saint Petersburg State University. Researchers from 28 countries took part in the conference, and the University of Banja Luka was represented by Prof. Dr. Predrag Ćeranić, Dean of the Faculty of Security Sciences, and Branko Crnogorac, a Foreign Language Instructor from the Faculty of Political Sciences.

The conference in the field of social architecture at Saint Petersburg University (Russian Federation) was held under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and featured presentations by Aleksandr Dugin and Karin Kneissl, among others.

This is the first conference in this field. It was organized by the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow), Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Saint Petersburg State University.

In a welcome letter, the Russian President emphasized that the conference was organized to consider a wide range of issues related to the development of such a sought-after and promising field as social architecture, as well as its role in the system of state and city administration.

The conference participants were also welcomed by the Governor of St. Petersburg, the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and the Rector of the University. The proceedings of the conference were covered by leading Russian media.
