Dr. Oliver Subotić – Questions of Meaning, Truth, and Freedom in the Era of Artificial Intelligence – VIDEO
The lecture by Presbyter Dr. Oliver Subotić brings a unique blend of spirituality, philosophy, and modern technology. In a time when artificial intelligence shapes man’s everyday life, Dr. Subotić poses fundamental questions: what is man, where are the boundaries of freedom, and how to preserve meaning and beauty in the digital era.
Dr. Subotić was born in 1977 in Nova Varoš. He graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences – Department of Information Technology, as well as the Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the University of Belgrade. He received his master’s degree in 2008 and his doctorate in 2011 from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, defending his dissertation titled “The Information-Controlled Society and Its Implications.”
As an author and researcher, Dr. Subotić is particularly focused on the relationship between man and technology, with a critical review of the social and spiritual consequences of digitalization. He is the founder of the Center for the Study and Use of Modern Technologies of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovci, as well as an active member of the Missionary Department of the Holy Synod of Bishops.
