Prof. Dr. Velibor Lalić Holds Lecture on Student Safety for Fourth-Year Students at the Technical School in Gradiška – VIDEO

Peer violence and drug abuse were just some of the topics discussed with fourth-year students at the Technical School in Gradiška by Velibor Lalić, a professor at the Faculty of Security Sciences. He emphasized the importance of students being able to identify security threats specific to their age group. Lalić stated that although problems such as cyberbullying are not often discussed, they are definitely present. He added that it is crucial for students to be educated on these matters and to reach out to competent institutions for help and advice.

The lecture also covered procedures to follow in the event of bomb threats, which have become frequent in our region in recent years.

The fourth-year students showed interest in the lecture, as well as in enrolling in the Faculty of Security Sciences.

Vlado Tomić, the Director of the Technical School, believes the lecture was very useful for the students and that education is paramount in recognizing problems. “We strive to recognize and resolve any problems we observe in a timely manner,” Tomić added.

The Technical School in Gradiška successfully cooperates with numerous faculties and frequently organizes similar educational lectures.
