Life Long Learning Course at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics

A life long course (LLL course) will be established as part of the Erasmus+ project ,,Development of Master Curricula in Ecological Monitoring and Aquatic Bioassessment in the Western Balkans Higher Education Institutions“ (ECOBIAS) at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Banja Luka.

This is a course in the field of environmental monitoring of surface waters, and everything is conducted as part of the Erasmus + project in the field of capacity building in higher education (E+ KA2 CBHE).

The goal of the project is the accreditation of 27 master’s and life long learning courses in the field of ecological monitoring of surface waters, equipping seven laboratories at the Universities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro and establishing a regional ECOBIAS academic network.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the Unviersity of Banja Luka is represented by Prof. Svjetlana Lolić, PhD, the coordinator, and Assistant Professor Maja Manojlović, PhD, the project administrator. The project is coordinated by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Novi Sad, while the project consortium consists of altogether 11 universities from five countries. In this call, universities from Serbia applied for the first time as program universities (University of Novi Sad and University of Niš), with universities from Croatia (University of Zagreb) and Germany (Universitaet Duisburg-Essen), and with partner universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. In addition to the University of Banja Luka, the partner universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina are the University of Sarajevo, the University of East Sarajevo, the University of Mostar, the University of Tuzla, the International University of Travnik, and the University of Donja Gorica in Montenegro.

Prof. Snežana Radulović, PhD, is the project coordinator, and Prof. Dušanka Cvijanović, PhD, is the administrator.
