Reception for the Irish Ambassador to BiH

On 14 March 2020, Vice Rector for Material and Human Resources at the University of Banja Luka Prof. Dalibor Kesic, PhD, and Dean of the Faculty of Philology Prof. Petar Penda, PhD, met with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina Myles Geiran to talk about starting an Irish short story anthology translation project. 

This refers to the publication of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Banja Luka, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Ireland to BiH. 

This was also an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of promoting Irish literature and culture in BiH, exchanging professors and students, and signing cooperation agreements with the leading Irish universities.

The Ambassador also pointed to certain scholarships offered by Irish universities.
