On March 26, 2019, the University of Banja Luka was accredited (re-accredited). The Decision on Accreditation was issued by the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Srpska. This confirms that the University’s quality of work meets the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) and the criteria for the accreditation of higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The University of Banja Luka submitted its application for accreditation (institutional re-accreditation and accreditation of study programs), along with all necessary documentation, in December 2017 and April 2018, respectively.
Following a series of activities and procedures, the External Evaluation Commission drafted a report confirming that the University of Banja Luka meets the quality standards required for the issuance of the decision on institutional accreditation (re-accreditation), as well as the accreditation of 16 study programs.
In accordance with the aforementioned decision, the next accreditation process must be conducted within a five-year period.
