Biography:

Velibor Lalić was born in 1973 in Bosanska Dubica (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He completed the Secondary School of Internal Affairs in Zagreb (Republic of Croatia) in 1991. He graduated from the College of Internal Affairs in Zemun (Republic of Serbia) in 1994, and from the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka in 1999. He completed his master’s studies in 2007 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka, Department of Sociology. He obtained his PhD in 2014 at the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade. He is employed at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Banja Luka, as an Associate Professor in the scientific field of Security Sciences. At the same Faculty, he serves as the Head of the Department of Security Sciences and the Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Cooperation. He is the Executive Editor of the scientific journal Journal of Security and Criminalistics. He is the author of over fifty scientific papers in the field of security sciences, published domestically and abroad. He is married and a father of three children. He lives and works in Banja Luka.
