Biography:

Assistant Professor Dragana Vasiljević was born on June 14, 1983, in Banja Luka. She completed her undergraduate studies at the College of Internal Affairs in Banja Luka in 2006 as the student of the generation.

She completed her master’s studies at the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo, in 2013, defending her master’s thesis titled “Preparatory Acts in Criminal Law.” She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad, in 2020, defending her doctoral dissertation titled “Co-perpetration – Criminal-Legal and Criminological Aspects.”

She began her employment at the College of Internal Affairs as a Teaching Assistant (2006–2017). Since 2018, she has been employed at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Banja Luka, first as a Senior Teaching Assistant (2018–2022), and subsequently as an Assistant Professor.

She has been awarded multiple times for her success in studies, including two awards from the President of the Republic. She is the author of numerous papers in domestic and international journals and one monograph, and has participated in several domestic and international projects. She speaks English and German.
