Biography:
Željka Piljagić was born on July 25, 2001, in Banja Luka. She completed the “Milutin Bojić” Elementary School in Potkozarje, Banja Luka (2007–2016), and acquired her secondary education at the Economics School in Banja Luka (2016–2020), majoring as a Business-Legal Technician.
She enrolled in the first cycle of studies at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Banja Luka, in 2020, successfully graduating in 2024 and acquiring the title of Bachelor of Laws in Security and Criminalistics. She finished her undergraduate studies as the student of the generation with a GPA of 9.48 and is a recipient of the University’s Gold Badge with the image of Nikola Tesla.
During 2023, she completed police training for the duties of a Junior Police Officer at the Police Training Unit – Police Academy. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she continued her education in the second cycle at the Faculty of Security Sciences, University of Banja Luka, majoring in Security and Criminalistics.
In the academic year 2024/2025, she was engaged as a student demonstrator for the courses: Fundamentals of Security Sciences, Intelligence and Security Operations and Services, Security Systems, and Security Culture. She was elected to the title of Teaching Assistant on March 27, 2025, and began her employment at the Faculty of Security Sciences in May of the same year.
